I'm 38 and my 15-year-old daughter showed me this song about a year ago. We were driving around, she said "Dad, let me play you something." This song started to play. My initial reaction was "Hmm? Interesting, I like." From then on, she would play it continuously and with each listen I would come to like the song more and more. Then recently I actually sat down and read the lyrics and understood the story behind the music and caught all the catchy phrases and deep emotion behind the lyrics, and what I've concluded is that.... This song is absolutely incredible and pure brilliance!!!
